SayPro, in collaboration with the United States Peace Corps, is encouraging collaboration between local farmers and urban consumers to strengthen food systems and support local economies. SayPro facilitates farm-to-market networks that reduce food waste, improve nutrition, and boost smallholder farmer income. These partnerships build trust and transparency between rural producers and urban buyers.
SayPro Charity NPO supports farmers with training in sustainable agriculture, supply chain management, and digital marketing. Peace Corps volunteers help develop cooperative models, coordinate farmers’ markets, and implement logistics solutions for fresh produce delivery. SayPro ensures that pricing is fair and systems are efficient, benefiting both producers and consumers.
SayPro also promotes urban consumer education through “buy local” campaigns, food literacy programs, and community-supported agriculture (CSA) models. This strengthens the connection between food origins and health. With Peace Corps involvement, SayPro introduces global innovations in agri-linkages and adapts them to local needs, creating win-win scenarios across the food chain.
SayPro evaluates success through metrics like food delivery consistency, income growth for farmers, and customer satisfaction. SayPro’s goal is to build resilient, community-centered food systems. Together with the Peace Corps, SayPro is creating sustainable rural-urban connections that uplift small farmers and nourish urban populations.
