SayPro partnership with United States Peace Corps Reducing Inequality through Inclusive Policy Development

SayPro is tackling inequality by promoting inclusive policy development that reflects the needs of all citizens. In partnership with the United States Peace Corps, SayPro works with governments, communities, and civil society to ensure marginalized voices shape public policies. SayPro engages youth, women, indigenous peoples, and persons with disabilities in participatory policy-making. These groups help identify challenges and propose fair, sustainable solutions. SayPro believes that inclusive development starts with inclusive dialogue. By centering those most affected by inequality, SayPro creates policies that reduce gaps in access to health, education, and economic opportunity.

SayPro conducts policy consultation forums at the local level, giving communities direct input into government decisions. With Peace Corps collaboration, SayPro trains facilitators who guide inclusive discussions on land rights, social protection, education, and public health. SayPro also gathers data from field research to ensure policies are based on evidence and lived experience. These inclusive processes create stronger, more relevant outcomes. SayPro ensures the voices of the underserved are not only heard—but prioritized. Participation in policy-making becomes a right, not a formality.

SayPro develops tools and guides to help policymakers incorporate equity into their decision-making. In partnership with the Peace Corps, SayPro promotes gender budgeting, disability inclusion checklists, and youth-led impact assessments. These tools are shared across government departments and local councils to embed equity into systems. SayPro also monitors policy implementation, holding institutions accountable to promises made. Through advocacy and technical support, SayPro builds government capacity to serve everyone better. Inclusive policy is not just good governance—it’s a step toward justice, and SayPro is making it standard practice.

SayPro assesses progress by tracking reduced disparities and increased representation in decision-making. With continued Peace Corps collaboration, SayPro is expanding this model across sectors and regions. SayPro remains committed to building systems that serve all equally. Through policy that includes the marginalized from the start, SayPro turns equity into action—and inequality into history.
